In order to successfully run our award-winning local Berkshire drama classes and workshops, we require a strong team that is passionate about what they do and can provide support to one another and the children.

Every teacher comes from a Performing Arts background and is required to undergo an interview and audition to demonstrate their performing skills before joining the team.

Finding local talent from the Berkshire area allows our Performing Arts program to thrive.

We are constantly seeking new talent to join our team of teachers for weekly classes and school holiday workshops. If you would like to learn more about our exciting teacher roles, please submit a covering letter explaining why you would be a great addition to the team. All teachers must be able to reach our local venues, and they will undergo DBS checks.

Meet the team

  • Amanda Cairns

    Artistic Director.

    Amanda Cairns opened Shining Star Productions in 2013 after graduating from Bucks New University and gained a B.A (Hons) in Performing Arts and is also a Child's Counsellor & Coach. Amanda has LAMDA qualifications and has been involved with the Performing Arts for 20 years now. She is DBS checked and has Public Liability Insurance and is also First Aid trained.
